Food for Thought

Food for Thought is a new program for clients with diabetes. The program will involve discussion with the Diabetic Dietitian (Kendall) and Nurse (Margaret). They will be teaching you how to manage your meals and snacks to control your: blood sugars, blood pressure, weight, and cholesterol. You will also learn how to read food labels and how to make healthy snack choices. Following this, the class will be open for discussion to allow the participants get to know each other and to share helpful tips or ask questions.
