A Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement, or M-SAA, is a three-year service accountability agreement between Ontario Health (see “Funding” below) and a Health Service Provider. It is a performance agreement that assigns a measure of responsibility to the health service provider and sets out accountabilities and performance expectations. You can view the West Elgin Community Health Centre’s agreement here:
Funding
The Centre receives the majority of its funding from Ontario Health West. Occasionally some programs receive funding from other sources. For example, the Healthy Beginnings Healthy Life program received a grant from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport’s Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund, and the United Way of Elgin-St. Thomas supports our Gift a Ride program for individuals facing transportation barriers. Partners at the Municipalities of West Elgin and Dutton Dunwich, community businesses, and community members have also provided generous support to our Health Centre.
