The Ontario Caregiver Organization
The Ontario Caregiver Organization has been created to help make it easier for family caregivers. Their focus is on raising awareness of the caregiving role, connecting caregivers to information and supports and helping to bridge the services available so all caregivers, regardless of age, condition or where they live have access to the same resources.

Canadian Mental Health Association Elgin Branch – Case Management
- Intensive case management services for individuals with serious mental illness aged 16 or older.
- Services are client-directed and based on individual need.
- Provide client advocacy and assistance in areas of daily living.
Addiction Services Thames Valley – Addictions & Mental Health Counselling
- Respectfully supports individuals and families through the life-changing challenges of drug, alcohol and gambling problems and recovery.
- Services range from screening and assessment to treatment planning, referrals and relapse prevention.
Addictions Services Thames Valley – Telewithdrawal and Crisis Support Program
- Provides a client-centered harm reduction approach, including acute and past withdrawal assessment, consultation, planning, relapse prevention, community referrals and education.
- mindyourmind is an award-winning, non-profit mental health program that engages youth, emerging adults and the professionals who serve them to co-develop reliable and relevant resources.
- These resources are designed to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and increase access and use of community support, both professional and peer-based.
- Through the use of active engagement, best practice and technology, mindyourmind inspires youth to reach out, get help and give help
“Reach Out” is a new 24/7 information, support and crisis line for people with mental health or addiction needs living in Elgin, Oxford, Middlesex or London. It is a partnership project of Addictions Services of Thames Valley and the Canadian Mental Health Associations of Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford.
