Fundraising
A fundraising committee was established in 2024 to help offset the rising cost of food and supplies for the many programs at the Centre. Unfortunately, the Centre does not receive sufficient funding to meet the growing demand for our many programs and services or to combat inflation to maintain the same level of program participation.
Donations to the Centre can be received online through our Canada Helps Donation Page or by contacting our Finance Department at 519-768-1715, Ext. 2205. One time financial gifts, regularly scheduled charitable contributions, in honour of donations, and legacy gifts are truly appreciated. Every dollar helps to fund the many community programs facilitated at the Centre. Charitable gift receipts are available.
Larry Schneider, Board Director and Fundraising Committee Chair, is the primary contact for business and service club donations. Please contact Larry by phone at: 519-636-8052 or via email at: gorviosch@gmail.com
Community Generosity - "Together we can do so much"
Through individual financial donations and the amazing efforts of the Centre's Fundraising Committee, we are forever grateful for the kindness and generosity of so many organizations and donors. Each of you help the Centre make a difference in your rural communities and in the lives of your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbours.
During 2025-2026, the Centre received over $17,000 in donations. Such donations funded the Youth Garden at the Centre, various children's programs, Community Holiday Dinner, the Centre's Good Food Box program, and free rides to dialysis treatments.
We thank the following organizations for their community generosity:
Kiwanis Club of Rodney
United Way Elgin Middlesex
Optimist Club of West Lorne
Kiwanis Club of West Lorne
Grace Anglican Church
Salus Mutual Insurance Company
Dunwich Pastoral Charge
Brain Injury Association of London and Region
West Lorne & Community Horticultural Society
Cheshire London
Parkinson Society
